VPN Issues
« on: July 30, 2010, 12:49:16 PM »

I've been having a number of issues related to connecting from home through the DIR-601 to my corporate VPN at work:

1.  Aspx applications on the corporate intranet don't run -- the webpage just won't come up.

2.  I'm not able to change my password because the domain server is supposedly not available.

3.  The VPN connection will sporadically drop after a few minutes.

4.  Outlook Email seems to have a lot of trouble connecting.

All these issues go away if I remove the DIR-601 and connect directly to my DSL modem.

I've tried fiddling with the obvious config settings underneath Application Level Gateway (ALG) Configuration on the Firewalls page to no effect.

Anybody have any ideas?

Try unchecking the Advanced DNS.
