Title: DWL-G730AP factory reset?
Post by: rlauriston on October 25, 2010, 08:27:46 AM
I bought a DWL-G730AP used. It works, at least in access point mode, but somebody changed the password so I can't configure it for client or router mode or change the AP settings. Is it possible to do a factory reset without the password?

(I couldn't find a more appropriate forum.)

There should be a small reset hole on the side of the router, use a pen or a toothpick to push the reset button in for about 5 secs or until the light starts flashing on the router. The default IP will be 192.168.0.1 after you have reset it.

I think the log in name is admin and the password is either admin or password.
