In the UI.  I clicked on the check for new software button on the firmware page.

I'm still having my youtube's video trouble, been reading some of your post and can see that it is related with the Arris Cable modem, I'm going to call videotron tomorrow to give them some s***s about their modem ;)

I've had the 857 since release, running 1.0.  It is one of the best routers I've owned, but needed to be rebooted periodically.  It would not behave properly with some wifi devices.

I uploaded to 1.03 via the web control panel and so far it is rock solid.  No reboots needed in a couple of days since upgrade.

Well running Kargo's 857 seems to be stable on v1.03. Aside the temp concerns, running it with external cooling has been running well for the past few days. Going to turn OFF cooling and see how it does with out. Signal is a bit week in the bed room down the hallway from the living room where the 857 sits which is about 15 feet away approx. Still was able to get internet and surf using my laptop on 2.4Ghz. This is using my saved v1.02 configuration file loaded on top of the v1.03. I played around with the HT 20/40 coexistence and turned it ON. Turn OFF SHORT GI. Will go back and put them back tonight and see if there is any differences. Other then that, been running well.

I experienced weak signal in our bedroom, too, which is about 40 feet away.

wow, thats a pretty good distance Kargo. I would say thats on the fringes of WiFi range. Most of my ranges are with in 20ft. I'll be going back to setting up WiFi defaults and going to take to cooler off line I think this evening. I've left Qos unconfigured since I'm the only one gaming and online when I game.  ;D You still playing MW3?

I should have said that the signal is going through 3 or 4 walls, too. :D

I put MW3 on the shelf since I got BO2, bro.
