Hi everyone
I recently purchased a WUA-2340 usb dongle..hoping to use it without nwrapper
I understand it uses atheo chipset but not 100 percent sure if it is just wondering is there anyway I can find out details on this unit with is a bit more in depth..

lsusb will be your biggest friend in this case, if you don't have it installed already it is part of the usb-utils package for most distros.

well that is the first command I used that is how I figured out the make or manufacture of the chipset but I was looking for some more details on the chipset the actual model number so I may find a driver for it without using nswrapper for a driver...

The lsusb string will have that information. That string must identify that device to it's driver, so that is the relevant string.
