If you own a color DCS-9XXL camera and would like to disable the LED lights on the face of the camera, please use the following procedure:
Procedure
Using a Web Browser
- Open a web browser and enter the DCS IP Camera IP address as the URL (e.g. 192.168.1.5)
- Enter your login credentials
- DCS-930L/932L: Navigate to MAINTENANCE > Admin > SERVER SETTINGS > LED Control
DCS-942L: Navigate to MAINTENANCE > Admin > Device Settings > LED light
- Set LED Control to Off
- Press Save Settings
Using mydlink Lite app
- Launch app and tap your camera
- From the live view screen, tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner
- Tap Settings
- Under More Settings, uncheck Enable Camera LED
