Automatic reconnect with iphone not working
« on: October 27, 2012, 11:52:26 AM »

Hi. Just installed new N300 cloud on my home network with Road Runner service. Older D-link router worked well, just got old and slow. Now my iphone 4s (and ipad 3) drops connection after certain length of time and does not automatically reconnects to wifi connection, unlike before with the older router model. My new Macbook pro does not drop connection and seems to reconnect ok. So perhaps this is related to iOS only. is this a security setting? It causes a problem with facetime calls as i can not receive them if i forget to manually reconnect when returning back home, etc... iphone reconnects to other networks automatically just fine.

Try using mixed G and N mode.
Try using WPA2 and AES only encryption. Test TPIK only then no security to test.
Set firewall settings to Endpoint Independent if u have this option.
