Hi, I migrated my internet from PPPOE to DHCP. My wifi is working with no problem but when I hook up my computer to 1 of the 4 Lan ports I can't seem to connect to the internet I can however log in my router no problem. But I don't get internet access... I wonder what could be the problem. I tried resetting my router and modem to see if just a bug or something but to no avail.

I posted my problem here hoping maybe someone will have a remedy for my problem. I can do some hard internet searching but I will try my luck in this forum first before experimenting myself. Thank you

Did you change your internet connection from PPPoE to DHCP at:

1. Log into router 192.168.0.1 or what ever you might have changed it to.
2. Setup > Internet > Manual Internet Connection Setup
3. Under "Internet Connection Type" make sure it is set to Dynamic IP (DHCP).
4. Enable Advanced DNS Service should be Unchecked
5. Host should be blank (Unless ISP tells you otherwise)
6. Unicasting is ok to leave checked. (Unless you know for a fact you don't need it)
7. DNS servers blank (Unless you know what they should be, or you want to use 3rd party)
8. MTU is usually 1500 (Unless ISP says otherwise)
9. MAC can be 0's, or not. Doesn't matter unless your ISP provisions CPE. (They would usually tell you)
10. Save Settings.

I could give more specific instructions, but I need to know:

1. Your ISP.
2. Model number of modem
3. Other routers, switches, servers, etc?

Hi I just experimented my router a while ago and I think I fixed it. I just checked advance DNS then reboot then I uncheck it again then reboot and for some reason it got fixed. I don't know what happened there but the lan ports have internet access now.  Thanks for the INFO though :)

Ok, so it was some kind of DNS issue. Glad you figured it out.

Check the Setup/Internet/Manual settings and make sure Primary and 2ndary DNS are being filled in. You can copy and paste these from Status/Device Info/WAN section.

Then ensure DNS relay is on and Adv. DNS Service is off.
