A rate of 300 at 80% looks pretty good to me.
Most laptops run the antenna through the lid, so its angle can effect your reception.

O but when i had my linksys Wrt54g router i was getting 100% Signal Strength anywhere i go all over the house tho is the reason i'm not getting 100% signal strength is because i'm using wireless N.

Yea i was right its because i was using wireless N, when i use wireless G it went up to 100% where ever i went all over the house guys D-Link Dir-655 needs a new firmware update to fix wireless N signal Strength problems with range of wireless N wifi signal.

I have no issues when using N and achieving 100% even if I take my laptop outside.

Try environement: other AP signals, walls, obstructions, old DECT
Try: Antenna angulation.
Try: weak client side wifi

I find out way my signal Strength was so weak its because of Short GI when i turn it off my signal strength went up to 100%, when i turn it back on it was weak again.
