Compatibility Question
« on: August 20, 2014, 10:13:45 PM »

Hi,

I was wondering what is the compatibility of the DHP-540 with the other Powerline devices.
I currently have a network made of a DHP-540AV+DHP-502AV, it works quite well.

I would like to add 2 or 3 devices, I tried adding some DHP-308AV, but they can't connect (they connect between each other but not with my DHP-5xxAV devices)

Could anybody tell me which DHP devices are compatible with my current config?
(The DHP-500AV are discontinued in Canada...or very hard to find)

Thank you,
J.

Link>Welcome!

  • What region are you located?

You might check the Quick Installation Guides for some of these models, User Manual or D-Link web site to see whats compatible.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
