lan local hostnames
« on: January 05, 2014, 10:09:44 AM »

Trying to get a webpage from my desktop running Apache virtual hosts. For this to work u need the devices to get the lan hostnames. The manual says the dlink will act as a dns (DNS Relay on) but I dont see it working. On the dlink Admin panel/Status page, the ip's are listed but not the hostnames.

From my linux destop, cat /etc/resolv.conf shows the LAN name "mynetwork".

Is thr a way to look up the hostnames on the dlink router?

Try disabling DNS Relay and manually input DNS IP addresses into Setup/Internet/Manual?
