323 on solid state drives?

Has anyone tested this and is it even possible? I can see many advantages of a completely silent unit. Nice!

It's certainly possible, but since the cost per gigabyte is many times hard disk prices, it's not all that practical.  FWIW, I have two 1.5TB drives in mine, and even when it's running, it's pretty quiet.  Also, if the noise bothers you, being a network device, you can locate it remotely and you won't even hear it. ;)
