Title: I can access DNS-321 Utility via browser but OS X no longer connects
Post by: TyM on September 13, 2016, 01:44:30 PM
Like many, I have a DN-321 with 2x2TB drives. RAID-1 format
I CAN log into the ADMIN account from my browser and drive tests say PASSED
The utility accurately shows used/unused space

In OS X finder, the disk column shows the Network drive but I can no longer connect to it (connection failed).  This has happened out of the blue.
The 3 indicator lights seem to blink as appropriate.  During the drive test, the vertical disk activity "light" flashes.
Any ideas?  Thanks

Any updates to OS X about the time you lost contact with the NAS?  Something like that is generally caused by a change in how the computer logs in to the NAS.

As a test can you see and transfer files using FTP?

What version of OSX are you using?  ???
Is the DNS using a Dynamic IP address or a Static? I recommend a Static.
