sorry to put it here didn't found a category for my AP
I have dap-1150 AP, works perfectly in 3 mods, AP, repeater and wireless client, except I can't enter the web based to change configuration
I had it for 2 years, and it was working perfect, till sudenly yesterday, can't access the web based app
I tired to reset, with no luck, and now I am stuck on:
when AP, only broadcasting SSID dlink with no security
repeater: will only boost SSID named dlink and opened
client, will connect only to SSID named dlink and open
cause I can't change it
anyone can help, the default IP is 192.168.0.50, when connected to my network I can see it takes the IP 192.168.1.9 but I can't access it :(
both if it connected to a network or only my PC, I can ping it , and I can see its MAC correctly as on the sticker, but I can't access the web based APP
again I tired to rest it using the rest in the back and I stuck with SSID dlink and open security
sorry for repeating too much ideas, but it a repeater :D

Link>Welcome! (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41537.0)
- What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at sticker under DAP.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Disconnect the DAP from any network and set up a static IP address ON the PC at 192.168.0.49 and wire connect to the DAP and reset it to factory defaults. Can you access the DAP now? If you can, run thru the wizard and re-set up the DAP for your mode that you need and the connection. If your going to use the 192.168.1. string pool, I think you can either set it on the DAP as a static IP address from 1920.168.0.50 to 192.168.1.50 as see if that will connect to the web page after it's set up. Once you get the DAP reconnected and set up. Re-configure your PC from static IP addressing to Automatic Obtain.

thanks for your fast reply, I already tried to as I said, I connected to my pc, used the IP 192.168.0.2 and I know the default IP for the AP is 192.168.0.50 but it doesn't open, I can ping it, as I said, and I can see the correct MAC but I can't access it

3rd Party Security Software Configurations
- Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
- Turn off all devices accept for one wired PC while testing.
Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

I updated to firmware 1.11b06 long time ago
thanks for your reply again
I am an expert, as I said I can ping it, and I already tried 2 laptop with no luck
I used IE 10 and firefox 25, I used to access it using these brosers before
my view it need to flash firmware again, if I can only upload firmware using Putty

I would recommend phone contacting D-Link support and check to see if they can help, if not, get this into RMA.
Let us know how it goes. Sorry I could help more. :-[

Any more status on this?
You might want to start over and factory reset everything...even reset the main host router and turn off everything accept the main host router, 1 wired LAN PC and the DAP.
Get the main host router set up with minimal settings, then go thru the DAPs setup wizard and set it up.
