DES-1105 switch seems to show as a multimedia device in Windows 10.

I am not sure if I am totally misguided here but I tried to kick off some troubleshooting and on page 14 of the user manual ftp://ftp2.dlink.com/PRODUCTS/DES-1105/REVA/DES-1105_MANUAL_1.10_EN.PDF it talks about checking some network/ IP information.
When I run ipconfig, I lot of information comes up.  I see the following "titles:"
Wireless LAN adapter wi-fi
wireless lan adapter local area connection* 2
Ethernet adapter Ethernet
Tunnel adapter Local Area Connection* 12
Tunnel adapter isatap.home

Which one of those is related to the switch.  Note that this windows 10 computer is not connected to that switch.  It's actually a Windows Vista computer that is connected to that switch.

Ya running IPconfig from your pc if it's not connected to that switch wont result in any thing pertaining to what your looking for.
This is probably a Windows 10 issue and how they interpret seeing other devices and how it's displayed in Windows 10.

Check with other Windows version like 7 and compare any differences between 7, 10 and Vista.
