Multiple IPs on WAN IF?
« on: October 14, 2010, 08:19:38 PM »

Hi,

I am currently using some DIR-130s to VPN some sites to my office.  I am moving my mail server to the same office.  I want to know if I can have my WAN Interface bind to 2 IPs (both static).  I'd like to continue using one IP for the tunnels to my LAN services and the other as a DMZ for my mail server.  It seems I can only bind the WAN IF to one IP and use a LAN IP (NAT'd) for my DMZ mail server.

How can I have the DMZ respond to the second external IP?  I know I could build a Linux router and do this on a single NIC.  Is tis possible on the DIR-130?

regards

It's not possible with the DIR-130/330. It can only accomodate one public/WAN IP.
