Extending a wireless network
« on: December 16, 2017, 11:55:39 AM »

So if I want to extend a wireless network, If i go into manual setup,
I just type in the SSID of the invisible network in the box under Site survey:
WIRELESS NETWORK SETTINGS
Wireless Network Name:(type name)
I believe this is the way?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at the sticker under the DAP.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the DAPs web page under status.
  • What region are you located?

Possible that should work. Does the site survey work if you unhid the main AP SSID?

FYI, hidding SSIDs isn't completely safe. Hidden SSIDs can be found. Not to say it can be accessed.

it looks like it worked. I updated all the firmware and the krack patch as well.
My new ssids are up so it must have extended the network I typed in.
