Static Routing (DualAccess)
« on: January 18, 2008, 10:59:09 AM »

Hi, are there any plans to enable static routing on DIR-615 (like on DIR-655)?
I think this is simply a firmware feature, not hardware.
Thanx

Probably not. I can ask for it to be added, however I doubt that they will.

Quite amusing that my local (Russian) D-Link representative has just replied that this feature is bound to be released soon.
Don't know what to think, though :-[
My ISP is using VPN to connect to the Internet, so no DualAccess - no LAN

This forum is staffed by the US support team so it is very possible that the Russian version of the firmware will have that feature, and we would be none the wiser.  I had heard rumors of VPN based internet connections, however I have never seen one in practice.  I am curious though what kind of VPN is it?
