sorry guest for circumventing ban?

Just bought this router and tried to sign up for the forum I got this error until I used a proxy? how could I be banned? I've never used this forum before in my life.

possible your IP addresss was used on this forum by someone who got banned. Where are you from?

Ouch, looks like your this forum does use Spamm lists after all..just the worst one ever, SORBS. The practically blackmail people. Ouch. At-least they are trying.
