Slow Upload speeds
« on: September 08, 2009, 11:04:31 PM »

:-\ I did a speed test on 100 different web links, all without the router. Then I used the router and found out that the router slowed down my uploads and download speeds. The uploads I get without the router was 8 and up and the download speed I got without the router was 21. With the router, I got an upload speed of 2or 3 up and the downloads were of 15 or less. I need some help here...  am using wired  connection

If you are having trouble, please do us a favor and list out the equipment used, your ISP, OS, etc.

Hey, I was curious if you resolved the speed issue between the Arris cable modem and the 4500 router? Please let us know.

What did you do? What model Arris do you have? Got a friend that would like to get his 4500 working well on his Arris 500 series modem. Any help would be appreciated.

Thats the Arris TM502 modem from searching the Internet. Which is the same model I have. So when you had the Arris connected it didn't work well with the 4500? And now you have a different Mfr modem?

Ok, seems that there might be a pattern going on with Arris and DLink not working well. Thanks for the info.
