As of 8.2.2014 this problem seems still to be effective.

My DCS-2132L is ineffective and can't handle motion detection CPU load, and my DCS-932L seems to be faulty and not able to control the motion detection at all.

I start to be unhappy that I went the D-Link course at all. Unfortunately I am not rich enough to go and exchange the brand trivally.

While I do NOT CONSIDER THIS A FIX, it may be a workaround.

When accessing the DCS-932L through the DLink cloud access, you can also control the Motion Tracking. You *have* to access the camera through DLink myCloud. And there you need to uncheck and then re-check the Motion Control. In *this* case the DLink Cloud gives you direct control of t he motion detection.

If you access the camera direct (from your computer) it may not work. Depending on your computer Java and or 64bit settings. But if you access the same feature through DLink Cloud account *and* their server accounts, you may be able to access their motion detection control.

Unfortunately, this is not the same as trying to access it direct by your own account.
