2.05 firmware Question
« on: August 25, 2013, 09:59:20 AM »

Firmware 2.05 has two parts of it. Is it safe to just use the first one and not the second one? Things seem to fly with the first one but when i go to the second one things slow down a little bit. Also mine shipped with 2.05 so I don't know if I would have an issue with not running the second part.

If yours shipped with v2.05, either leave was is ON there or upgrade to v2.06.

I recommend leaving what is currently loaded and give it time.

too late. The other day I went all the way up to 2.09 but I started having some issues so I went all the way back to 2.05 but I know sure if it will work right because the firmware instructions say to use both 2.05 files to upgrade and I am only using one since the first one seems amazing but the second one isn't as good. Wonder if that is ok.

Did that. How important is UDP/TCP Endpoint Filtering set to Endpoint Independent? Just this just open your firewall up more or something?

No...it's safe to use. More compatible with some apps that need help with getting thru the FW is all.

Ok. Will do that. You also said you had SPI on and Spoofing on?
