Router drops signal offten
« on: May 16, 2010, 12:18:03 PM »

We recently bought the DIR-601 router and ever since then, my computer hasnt been able to keep the signal. It keeps dropping and so i have to reconnect to my games, msn, ect. If Im online all day id say it happens about four- five times. My husbands computer is fine, signals good all that. Now before we bought this router we had an older one, and the roles were reversed. His signal would drop off about
every minute. While I never had any issues. The location of the router hasnt changed, nor have we moved our computers. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

We changed the channel and the location its in, which has brought the signal strenght upto 23%. Hopefully that will help, any suggestions are welcome to try as well.
