Ok...so I presume the Router is getting a DHCP IP address from the ISP modem on the WAN side?

I recommend doing a factory reset, Turn OFF ALL devices accept for 1 wired LAN PC. Use IE browser and ensure all broswer security add-ons are disabled for this. Set up the router using the default settings after the reset. Go in and set the IP address reservation for this 1 PC. Don't change any of the numbers just add it and give it a name so you can identify it. Add the reservation and Save Settings. Open up the PCs networking status window. You should see it's current IP address information and everything else.

Reboot the router and watch the PC networking information. It should either disappear for a short time then come back and repopulate. Verify this on the 1 PC. If the IP address comes back after the router reboots, check Internet connection to make sure you can hit a web site. If this works, turn on the next device and let it acquire an IP address. Do the same IP address reservation on the router again. Add and save settings and reboot.

Let us know how this works.

I will try this tomorrow May 1st in the morning here (Europe)
And post back.
If someone can TeamView at that time (9am-12p Europe / that's 12a-3am Pacific) I'm ready to try :-)

Ok FurryNutz,

The problem has been identified and solved, thanks to you.
I definitely followed what was happening when adding devices, one by one. Everything was fine until I plug one of my "CPL" (Ethernet through the electric wired network in the house)... Then I lost all of my DNS fixed IPs. Just went nuts with that.

Then I thought about one thing, the provider gave me 2 routers. The Ubee, which is just a modem, no router, on which I connect the 868L, and a new one recently which serves as a TV Box and Voip.
Then I thought "would that stupid one also serve as a router and DHCP server, conflicting with the 868L? As soon as I disconnected it, my reserved IPs were back and fine.
So I turned that one as "client" only to get TV and connected the phone on the Ubee (which also has a phone jack) and voilą. Problem solved.

The only thing I had was my AppleTV daisy chained to the router. Then the AppleTV was not connected to the Internet anymore but I finally switched it to WiFi, connected to the 802.11n/802.11ac 5GHZ hotspot and it works like a charm, even in FullHD 1080. I'm in the house basement but still, no hiccups.

Was just wondering whether it was possible to tell the 868L to ignore the other router? Any idea? But it's NOT important, everything works fine now and on my MacbookPro, I'm now surfing at 230Mbs... Wow!

Again, 1000x thanks for your patience and help. You really did lead me to the methodological investigation  :-\

Awesome, glad you found the problem and fixed it.

Ya, it's kind of complex to have multiple routers on line at the same time if multiple DHCP servers are enabled. For home users, it only recommended to have just 1 DHCP server handing out IPs. Having more than just the one will run into issues like you saw and configuring multiples is complex and not recommended for home users. K.I.S.S. mean anything to you? Hehe.

Use the 868L as the main host router and DHCP server and disable all others.

Enjoy.  ;)

Sure will stay as I am now!
The TV Box will remain what it is, a stupid TV box (which I never use anyway, I barely watch TV)...
