DAP-1520 bridge mode all devices same mac address. Why?
« on: December 21, 2017, 09:49:01 PM »

I know this is an "old" device but I've made some changes by adding a nighthawk router and somehow in the process now I've got issues.
Specifically, I'm in bridge mode and all my devices attached are seen with the same mac address and this is messing up access to two devices (tivo and seagate nas).
My DAP-1520A has the latest firmware 1.42.  I do not have wireless mac cloning checked.
What am I doing wrong or need to change so each device will be seen by its unique mac address.

What I've tried: I've tried cloning on/off; qos in different checks.
Appreciate any help.

Most devices that have wireless bridge mode mask MACs that are connected behind them. Sine the bridge has it's own MAC when in bridge mode, this would be seen by the main host router only when other devices are connected behind the bridge. Most bridges don't pass thru connected client MACs.
