How to manually force firmware update?
« on: December 26, 2018, 07:43:35 AM »

According to the mydlink app, the firmware in my 8300LH is 1.00.05.  This forum has a post indicating the latest version is 1.01.04, released May 8, 2018.  I don't see anyway to initiate the firmware update in the app, only to set an automatic upgrade time.  Can I manually initiate the firmware upgrade?

You have to set a time to update it. Go to the settings and tap Firmware Upgrade. Enable Auto-Upgrade and set the time you want it to upgrade. Tap back.

I really hope they add a Update Now button or manual update option.
