- What Hardware version is your DNR? Look at the sticker behind or under the device.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the DNRs web page under status.
- What region are you located?
What Mfr and model is the main host router?
Is the DNS getting a Dynamic IP address from the main host router? I recommend using a Static IP address ON the DNS set to 192.168.#.34 or .40.
PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.

File must be renamed to "update.bin", it's important! and keep holding until it is blinking red... let me know!

Are you using a Mac? Make sure to run the latest version of Java if you are. HERE (http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java_mac.xml) is some information directly from Oracle's Java web page regarding running Java in MacOS X.
Let us know if this helps or if you have found a solution that worked for you. Thanks!
