Title: Default username to access firmware interface?
Post by: Qutrit on August 01, 2017, 06:41:10 AM
Hello,

I cannot seem to be able to access the camera's setup page by typing the IP address. When I do it ask me for a login and password. I input the correct password and, as username, I input DCS-936L, but the credentials are rejected. Does anyone know the default username for the camera? and how to reset it to the default? this is driving me crazy

Thanks!

Default username is admin and leave the password blank.

You will need to reset the camera back to the default settings. Use a paperclip and hold the reset button (with the camera powered on) for about 10 seconds and release. Wait about a minute for the camera to reboot.

Launch mydlink Lite app and set it up.

Thank you for your answers. Admin as a username solved the problem :)
