DIR-890L
HW : A1
FW : 1.10
I can set a schedule and it works on the kids 2.4Ghz band. (Kids are all connected to this)
I cannot Block individual access nor set a schedule to an individual.
I need to have this working as the kids need to have access on a schedule as well as individually depending on how their attitude is. Please help.
I have looked through this whole section on the DIR-890L. I have searched and what I have found has not helped. It has a bit but not to all what I need.

- What region are you located?
You should be able to set up a schedule per device. Set a name for the device, then give the time frame when the device should be disabled. Then go back to the Clients list and select on gray pen on the devices tile. Go in here and enable the Parental control and I believe the name of the schedule should appear here. Select it and save the setting.
Be sure the DNS Relay is enabled and you set up a IP address reservation as well on the devices tile.

I will Re-Enable DNS Relay. I have setup a schedule already. Yellow indicates use time and white is non-use time.
I have set Reserve IP for every device so far on my system.
This far its not working individually and only on the 2.4Ghz band.
I cannot just turn off individual access still.

When you in the devices tile settings, I presume enable Parental Controls is seen here. Is there other named controls seen here? Is the Scheduling name seen any where here?
How many schedules rules do you have set up?
-
In the Connected Clients window if I click on a Client it shows Parental Settings and Schedules. (Enable and Disable as well as drop down selection for Schedules)
I have 2 setup. One with certain access and one with no access and the built in one is Always Off.
-
Then for each device, you'll need to go in and edit the parental control under each devices tile and set it to the schedule that it needs to use...
-
I will try that again. I think it didnt work last time.
-
Tried it on my phone and it being set to always on or Schedule and specific schedule it still wont block my phone.
-
One issue I noticed is that when Parental Control is on. The ones that have it enabled are not in the Parental Control area. They are in the Normal Connection area.
