DIR-x1560 with DAP-1755

Hi all,
I am at the end of the Google on this one and I just can't fnd an answer so I'm hoping someone can give me something to try.

I bought a DAP-1755 and I CANNOT get it to connect with my router. It just blinks orange non-stop and it is driving me nuts.

Things I have tried:
  • Configuring the extender via the Dlink app
  • Configure the extender directly via the WebUI
  • Assigning a static IP in the Router
  • Not assignign a static IP
  • Connecting to the 5ghz network
  • Connecting to the 2,4ghz network
  • setting the same SSID/Password as my router
  • Setting different SSID/Passwords
  • Ensuring both are using wpa-2/wpa-3
  • Turning on or off Smart Connect for the band

I have tried hard wiring it and of course that works no problem, but that's not my goal. If you have any ideas, please let me know!

Firmwares are both up to date (1.03 for Extender, 1.04 for Router), I have factory reset things so many times.
