Title: DFL-260E , blocking internet by MAC or IP Address
Post by: vimfuego on November 07, 2017, 02:15:04 PM
Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to block certain devices connected to the DFL-260E DHCP server from accessing the internet?
I have the DHCP server running with static IP addresses in the pool assigned to each device by MAC address.
Lets say I want to block internet access to the devices assigned to 192.168.0.35 and 192.168.0.39 can this be done? (The DFL-260E is also handling the internet connection in my configuration).

Thanks.

P.S - I am running NetDefend v11.10.01.06-31274

I presume so. I would review the user manual for that model and see how to do blocking per device and see...

Thanks, I tried with the manual first but couldn't find what I was looking for. I was just hoping someone might have already done it with some nice easy steps explaining it.
Cheers.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. The US offers Chat support for consumer products at support.dlink.com. 24/7. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.
