Title: Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN with 20/40 mode
Post by: tisz on December 03, 2007, 06:54:22 PM
I read that you have to run in 20/40 mode to get the 300mbps and intel cards dont support this.

Does anyone know if they will release drivers for this or any way to change this? Seems pretty odd they offer a N rated card but cannot get the top speed.

Currently I run wpa2-personal with AES and connect at 130mbps (my card is set to 20/auto) and would LOVE to connect at 300.

Intel hasn't replyed and I cannot seem to find any form of support for this from intel. Any help would be great!!!

I would keep bugging Intel for the answer.
