Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded?
  • What region are you located?

Try this:

Were you able to get to the recover screen in the browser?

I haven't tested it out on mine. I'll try after work today...

Ok. I'll have a look at this at home and ask for some info from D-Link.

Ok, the 868L supports recovery mode is confirmed. Check your process again. Follow the sticky information. Be sure to set up a static IP address on the wired PC connected to the router. 192.168.0.1 should display the web page if the power on button process is followed correctly. Disable any 3rd party security SW and browser add-ons. Try IE and FF.

Ok I confirmed on mine that I can get to the Recovery mode:
"Firmware Upgrade

Update Software

Step 1: Obtain an updated software image file from device vendor.

Step 2: Enter the path to the image file location in the box below or click the "Browse" button to locate the image file.

Step 3: Click the "Upload" button once to upload the new image file.

NOTE: The update process takes about 2 minutes to complete, and your RG device will reboot.

Firmware File"
