I am getting this message on the response point box. (I have changed the names to protect the innocent)
SERVER,3/2/2011,11:44:35 AM,424,Microsoft Response Point Status Monitor,,1100,Microsoft Response Point Status Monitor,-2038954932,,<Warning>,"On 2011-03-02 Time 11:33:10, base unit OEM-VXXXXXXSTPN (00-XX-XX-XX-F5-05) reported: Microsoft Response Point Dialog Manager could not send a voice message as an e-mail attachment to: ``[email protected]`` because of the following error: 0x80004005 Unspecified error . The voice message will be stored on the base unit and can be accessed by phone. Make sure that you entered all of the information related to the e-mail server correctly. For more specific details on e-mail server options, click the Help button in the Configure E-Mail Server dialog box on the Base Unit page.",,,
But I will then test it an hour later, and without changing anything, works just fine. I've looked for why I am getting these random errors and would like to know what to fix or where to start looking. Nothing shows up in my e-mail server as any access, so it's not even getting there to be denied.
Thanks in advance.

To update you all....
Apparently the base unit was on it's last leg. While I was setting up packet tracking to determine if the unit was actually sending anything out (Got a loaner managed switch from a local CPU shop), the unit flat out died, would not respond, and a text message when attempting to reset the unit with....
Personal data was not successfully erased: The volume does not contain a recognized file system.
Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume is not corrupted.
Dlink support ended up replacing the unit, haven't had a problem with a lost voicemail since the new unit was put in place 2 weeks ago.
