No difference at all. :( Still fails DPC test and audio/video still lag every so often.

Looks like it's a 2 month old driver (12/29/2008) which is older than what Windows Update offers (1/13/2009)? Correct driver uploaded?

Back to driver from Windows Update. And yes Windows update offers latest version (1/13/2009) again after installing this beta driver, so it to believes this beta driver is old as well.

Yeah I got the driver from early to mid February. Tested it myself and noticed improvement from the DPC checker. Still had spikes but not as severe. Audio was fine but video is still choppy..  :-[ Wanted to eliminate my PC's being the factor which is why I'm posting it as beta to get feedback.

How's the windows driver version working out for you compared to the d-link one?

No change in the DPC latency on my machine.

What have you tried? Did you just run DPC and noticed spikes? or were you streaming media and running DPC? Please be more detailed. Also how did you install the driver?

The spikes still appear in the DPC latency checker and there still is a crackle in the audio at the same time.  I think the crackle is not as long (1-2 seconds instead of 4).  The latency checker graphic still shows spikes for 4 seconds.

I just clicked on the installer to install the new drivers.  It appeared to remove the old driver(s) prior to installing the new one.  New version of my driver is: 7.6.1.221

Is there a better way to install the driver?

I don't use the setup program.  I just point the device manger to the actual folder that contains the driver files.  I let Windows handle the Wirless Connection.
