Power blinking
« on: December 02, 2017, 06:17:50 AM »

My DIR-859 is with the firmware corrupted and I am trying to install the firmware but already tried everything. The DIR-859 is with the power LED blinking and I can not get the firmware installed. I have already downloaded the original firmware, followed the instructions to upload the firmware but the firmware does not install. Someone has already experienced this problem?

Link>Welcome!

  • What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
  • Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
  • What region are you located?
  • Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
  • What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
  • What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

Follow this to upload FW and see if this helps:

Be sure to use IE11 browser or FF browser. Do not use Chrome!!!
