DAP 2360 Time Setting and occasional slow down
« on: April 29, 2013, 08:40:08 PM »

I recently received this DAP 2360 for our small office AP.

On freshly firmware ( 1.0 )
i noticed the time is always set back to 1970 everytime i restart the AP.

Upgraded the firmware to 1.10,
problem still exist if i choose : System Menu - Restart the Device
However, the date is still correct if I choose : "Configuration Menu - > Save and Activate."
The NTP option doesn't help at all..
I always have to manually click "Copy Your computer's time settings" to correct the time.

Also, during peak hours, the traffic will slow down to a crawl,
that's why sometimes i need to restart it.

Anyone with similar device face the same problems ?

Device Info :
Firmware Version:1.10
Wireless (2.4GHz)
Channel    13
Data Rate    Auto
Security    WPA2-Personal / AES
802.11n only, with peak number of 30 clients.

anyone ?
Noticed another symptom..
I use 1 of the vlans for guest access, with auto regeneration of keys..
AP becomes slow after guest key regeneration.

Link>Welcome!

What Hardware version is your DAP? Look at sticker under the DAP.

What region are you located?
Are you wired or wireless connected to the router?
Has a Factory Reset been performed both before and after updating FW then setting up from scratch?

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
