error messages when trying to install active pc online

Yesterday, after reading, the postings on this site, i downloaded the play on software. from medial mall so that i may watch hulu on my dsm 520. Guess what, that did not happen. I don't know exactly, but it corrupted the active tv application. Now when i try to install the package again, i get a lot of error messages

1.   problem opening page
2. enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package :mediamall 2.57.3034.msi
3. error 1706


please help resolve this issue, as customer service at dlink is unhelpful

Playon will uninstall Active TV.  The two applications don't play nice together.  You have to pick one or the other.  Mediamall states that this is a known issue.
