I always view the camera video with Internet Explorer locally via the static ip address. Up until today it worked - now I get a blank screen. When attempting to view with DLink - it keeps telling me I must download and install the plugin and restart IE, did that several times. I can view the camera locally using Firefox, and via Dlink with Google Chrome. I didn't think Dlink was even compatible with Chrome. I wonder why it suddenly stopped working in both modes in IE?

Does IE compatibility mode work?
What version of FW is loaded?
What version of Windows?
-
Also - did you install some windows updates?

Firmware 1.13.05 (2015-11-18). Windows 8.1. IE Compatibility mode doesn't work. Have been running like this for more than 6 months. I didn't install Windows updates - have the setting to tell me they're available and to install manually. Firefox will load and run a couple Java scripts - then both audio, video and controls are good.

Now it won't even work with Firefox. Only 1 (previously 2) Javas now run. The only way to view the camera is with Dlink with Google Chrome. If I try Dlink with IE it repeatedly says I must download the plugin which I've done several times.

After my last post I contacted support. Per their instructions I defaulted I.E. settings, then the camera was OK in direct mode and via mydlink. The trouble may have been caused by a Java plugin I downloaded for something else.
