IFTTT, API, any way to get home automation?

Most of products that has been introduced in 2015 include a way to communicate with 3rd party equipment. IFTTT, API's are not exotic these days.
Shall Dlink will intoduce any connectivity with 3rd party equipement? I post this here as Dlink Home is the cloud service which provide access to the cloud. I hope someone from marketing read this and take action. It is pitty for dlink to have decent products on a nice prize and lacks of connectivity.

D-Link only seems to be headed towards IFTTT support on D-Link Connected Home products:
