Title: Recording limitations
Post by: Hendrykes on May 29, 2014, 03:19:07 PM
SD Recording
Here you may configure and schedule the recording of your camera. You must select the checkbox of 'SD Recording' to turn on the feature.

Recording Length : 6 minutes per file

Why not 60 minutes?

i've set 6minutes, but now i have a full week of recordings and over thousand videoclips... ;/

Same problem on the "Video Clip" page... Maximum duration :  Seconds  (Between 5 to 10 seconds) .. Why 10seconds?

Please let me know how to set it higher.

Thanks!

The recording length limitation may be related to constraints based on the amount of physical RAM in the camera. If the recording is managed by an third party application such as D-ViewCam or an NVR, a single contiguous video file of any length can be saved.
