Hello there,

Can somebody tell if DAP-2555 supports captive portal to help deploy public Wi-Fi hotspots ? localized or any cloud based captive portals.

Not a custom one at this time.  When a user connects to the AP they will be
greeted with a terms and condition box to accept and the background will be
black with D-Link Cloud Command on it.   I believe the next firmware update
will add custom portal capability as well as billing options for wifi use.

There was a recent firmware u/g for the unit which gave it the ability to separate
the internal ssid and hotspot ssid based on IP and VLAN for security purposes as well
as the feature of manual channel selection and transmit power.
