I recently ordered four DCS-2310L and have received DCS-2311L-ES. They look the same, but... The 2310's have been the most dependable cameras I own and do not want to be surprised by the 2311. I have these record to the DNR-322L.
Any opinions/ideas?

Where did you order it from? DCS-2311L were originally for Sage/Hughes. If you ordered 2310L you should receive 2310Ls.

Ordered through Amazon.

Probably a third party seller who misrepresented what they were selling. Definitely contact Amazon and the seller for an exchange/refund. They are similar cameras but they are different. Also if the seller left the Sage firmware on it you cannot put the D-Link firmware on.

Good to know Greenbay42. Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately with Amazon anyone can sell products now so things like this happen. The seller needs to take care of this since they shipped you a different model number.
Good luck and hopefully things will get taken care of.
