EBR-2310 and Verizon DSL
« on: December 07, 2011, 01:31:19 PM »

Hello, I've just installed a new Westell 6100G modem for my Verizon (NYC) DSL service. The reason for the upgrade is that my connection, thru the EBR-2310, was dropping out a lot with the old modem, which I could not seem to switch into bridge mode. I tried the new modem in its default mode first, and sure enough, the dropped connections thru the 2310 continued. So, with the help of some online guides, I flipped the Westell to bridge mode, changing the public and private side settings. Unfortunately, the dropped connections have not abated, in fact, they're more frequent. Does anyone know if the EBR2310 should be configured any particular way to work well with Verizon DSL? Any advice, greatly appreciated.
