Title: Help....Camera's Wifi signal drops intermittently
Post by: Burner79 on March 26, 2017, 06:08:04 PM
Ok I got this thing finally setup ok and it seems to work the way it should.  What I notice is when I am watching the feed, the Wifi signal drops suddenly and then picks up again.  Our wireless router is not too far from the camera and the camera's wifi indicator light is always green which should mean it is receiving a strong signal.  This signal continuously dropping like this causes the video feed to freeze and skip at times (I'd say every 7-10 seconds or so).   I bought this camera to keep an eye on our son when he plays in the basement by himself.  It is of no use to me if, when I'm watching him, it freezes for a few seconds every 7-10 seconds.  Has anyone else experienced this issue?  I've looked through this forum and cannot seem to find a fix that works yet.  Please help!

What Mfr and model is the main host router?
What wireless modes are you using?
What is the distance between the Camera and the main host router?
How many other wireless devices do you have connected to the main host router?
