Title: Access from the internet
Post by: consoleman on June 22, 2012, 01:22:00 AM
Hi there...

I just received my DCS-932L yesterday... Everythin fine except the accessing from the internet outside my network.

I tried to set up several IP-CAM viewers on my iphone, nothing works. Set up ports 80, 1010, 800 for the cam, port forwarded in my router... nothing...

The access via mydlink works fine, but I want to have the ability to user other software and access the web interface from everywhere.

Are there any hints? Or is this a problem of port forwarding from my router?

best regards

Assign the camera with a static IP address through your router.

Does the myDlink app for your iPhone work? Or is it just third-party phone apps that don't work?
