hello everyone,
per an extended discussion with Furry, who notified me that brainslayer essentially made baseless allegations of my GLIBC-based DD-WRT violating GPL, i cannot post the firmware here or provide support.
i want to be clear, this firmware is not endorsed by either D-LINK or the maintainer of DD-WRT, however it does not violate GPL.
again, I must emphasise:
- THIS BUILD OF DD-WRT IS NOT ENDORSED BY THE OFFICIAL MAINTAINER, NOR D-LINK.
- NEITHER OF THESE PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MISHAP THAT MAY OCCUR USING THIS BUILD OF DD-WRT
- THE MAINTAINER OF DD-WRT WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT FOR THIS BUILD. (i have yet to get any reports of this software bricking any device).
IF YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACCEPT THIS RISK and would like the BEST software for an excellent hardware platform, please see my github (https://github.com/i3roly/glibc_ddwrt)
the mt76 driver is subpar for any MT7615 device and i've had numerous reports that confirmed sticking with the "old" driver (also used in stock firmwares) is the best decision. if and when the mt76 driver becomes better, i will use it.
