update firmware
« on: May 21, 2011, 12:11:58 PM »

How do I check to see if my firmware needs updating?  I want to connect it to a motorola 2210-02.

IS the router not working? I recommend using it as is unless the router is not working and troubleshooting has been fully done and as a last resort.

I have a new modem, and when I tried to connect the router, it just dropped my dsl connection.  Looked up a Bell South Att site, and it warned me to update firmware first.  Can't figure out how to do that.....

go here:
http://www.dlink.ca/products/?tab=3&pid=DIR-615&rev=DIR-615
click FAQ then the question about how to upgrade the firmware on the DIR series of routers.

I am curious though, can I jump to 3.13 NA from the US site if I only have 3.11 NA installed?

Is the DSL Modem bridged? It's preferred to bridge the DSL Modem if it has a built in router. Is the PPPoE settings in the router set up in this case?
