Title: DIR 867 Parental controls keep disabling
Post by: Adam12 on February 08, 2020, 09:49:09 AM
I have set up a schedule to limit my teens access time to the WIFI signal. I have also set up the guest WIFI so when they log in they are on the guest account. On the home tab under connected clients I click on the + sign to "add a rule". I name the device, enter the MAC address and then enable the parental connected clients (guest) then I turn on the parental control with the applicable schedule. When the device turns on it will show in the connected clients (guest tab) as having parental control enabled, however after awhile the status changes to disabled. I know that they do not have the router admin password so they cant be changing the settings but it seems they are shutting off the parental controls somehow. Any help would be appreciated, I only have basic router config skills so maybe there is a setting that I should have turned on or something.
