Hi

I just got a D-Link DSL-2740R. I want to configure It for both my internet connection and my IP-TV. I got all I need from my ISP provider. The surprise comes when I was trying to configure this device for Multi PVC configuration. There is no option for doing that, and It allows me to set only one configuration.

Weird, if I open the section to stablish the routes (something that I need in order to set the IP-TV traffic through the second private virtual circuit)  I got to my surprise that I can select the PVC where to redirect the traffic to, this is, the hardware itself supports it, the firmware looks like is blocked.

I don't really care to configure it via telnet, but every time I try to connect to It this way I got a timeout.

Please, advice

D-Link DSL-2740R rev B

fw. 1.01b02 obtaiined from here: ftp://ftp.dlink.eu/Products/dsl/dsl-2740r/driver_software/

Thanks.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask for help and information regarding this. We find that phone contact has better immediate results over using email.
Let us know how it goes please.

doing a settings backup I got a configuration file that contains multiple PVC configurations, so It is 100%. I did some changes manually and I reloaded the file and multiple PVCs works, so It is not a hardware issue

I will contact D-Link to check out what they tell me

Thanks.

I opened a case for this issue, let's see what dlink tells me, but It is clear that the hardware is multi pvc capable. The status window show the status for each PVC, I can even set up routes with different PVC as a target, the backup show a list of PVCs... It is only the internet setup the one that does not show it.
