EDIT: I found out that one of our devices, a wifi streaming DVD Player made by Insignia was causing the wifi drops.  Even when off it caused problems.  Once I disconnected it from the a/c outlet our wifi became stable again.  The Insignia streaming DVD player doesn't cause my more expensive routers to disconnect, just this one and a cheaper NetGear I have.  I still have to leave Advanced DNS Service disabled.

Let me preface to say I have the B1 version.

I had a horrible time finding out why I could set it up using the wizard and it would stay connected for about 10-15 minutes then WiFi would disconnect and sometimes reconnect and sometimes not until I did a reset.

I have plenty of other wifi signals in my area that were detected by inSSIDer but I knew they were far enough away not to interfere with my signal (we live in the suburbs).

There were 2 issues that appear to cause the wifi signal drop.  Wired was solid, btw, only wifi drops.

From the GUI page:
1. Setup>Internet>Enable Advanced DNS Service.  DISABLE this.  This was enabled out of the box for mine.

2. Advanced>Advanced Network.  At the bottom of the page, do not enable IPv4 Multicast streams.  My wifi devices support it but it seems like there's a bug.  Yours may or may not have issues.  Try it both ways to see if yours is affected.

After doing this my wifi signal was more stable with fewer drops.

Hope this helps.

Also, testing the router out, it's good for general Internet usage and gaming with 1 PC or game console. However, it's not a good router for multiple gaming platforms all going at the same time. It just can't handle the connections and does not have any advanced QoS options like higher model DIR series routers have. Other than this, it's a good router.
